Our website www.ourcatholicprayers.com was first established in 2006 by Christopher Castagnoli, a lay volunteer at St. Patrick’s Cathedral in New York City. He converted to the faith in 1999 when he was baptized at the Easter Vigil by His Eminence the late John Cardinal O’Connor at St. Patrick’s Cathedral in New York City.

Chris has since been involved at the Cathedral as a Lector, a Catechist with their RCIA program, and as a Co-director of their Young Adults group. He writes the material for the site with help and suggestions from friends and colleagues.

The Our Catholic Prayers website seeks to help bring people closer to our Lord in prayer by providing useful information about various prayers, other interesting websites, and related articles of interest. We also receive and post numerous prayer requests from all around the world! We wish to acknowledge in a special way the spiritual guidance we’ve received from Father Richard Gill.

You can reach us at info@ourcatholicprayers.com. Or, if you wish, use the forum on the Contact Us page on our site if you have any questions or comments. We hope we can be of help to you in your spiritual journey!
